ABOUT THE AUTHOR

JAMILLA KABONGO is a graduate from the University of Toronto Mississauga, where she studied psychology. Through her memoir, The Glow Up: Ascending in My Twenties, poetry, paintings, and future public engagements, she seeks to inspire and empower individuals, especially young people, to overcome their childhood traumas so they can become happier, healthier, and more fulfilled beings.

Her debut book, The Glow Up: Ascending in My Twenties, reached the #1 bestseller spot in the category of "Biographies of Women for Young Adults" within the first few days of its pre-order release and continued holding that position on Amazon in Canada for weeks. It also reached the #1 bestseller spot in the category of "Family & Childhood Biographies & Memoirs."
